As a Fleet Technician, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles both in our Deer Park facility and out in the field. You’ll work with a skilled team and advanced diagnostic tools to keep our clients’ fleets running safely and reliably.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on diesel and gas powered vehicles.
Conduct DOT, NYS, and federal inspections ensuring compliance and safety.
Troubleshoot complex drivability issues and complete electrical diagnostics.
Support emergency mobile service calls and rapid response efforts to minimize client downtime.
Qualifications:
ASE certification or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proficiency with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and suspension.
Ability to work effectively both on-site and in a shop environment.

Mobile Auto Mechanics LI is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support our growing commercial fleet client base throughout Long Island and NYC. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered vehicles in both mobile and shop-based environments.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, and aftertreatment systems
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on commercial trucks and vans
Conduct DOT inspections and ensure fleet compliance with state and federal regulations
Respond to mobile service calls and emergency breakdowns at client locations
Accurately document repairs, parts used, and service recommendations
Qualifications
3+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
Strong understanding of heavy-duty and medium-duty commercial vehicles
Experience with diagnostic software and electrical troubleshooting
Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
